Anayón Cariñena Terracota 2015

Wine note our  winemaking technical team:

We remembered how our forefathers made wine, naturally, in earthenware urns, a vessel that has been used since prehistory right up to the present day and I started to look for some urns that would be just right for this project. We wanted to use to make this pioneering wine: the cariñena, our local grape, and We was sure that aging the wine in earthenware urns would enhance its acidity, fruit and mineral character even more, emphasising the notes of slate and graphite, producing a unique, different and special wine, where the slow and constant oxygenation in the urns and its concentrating effect, would honour the wine as it deserved.
