Grandes Vinos has obtained in XVIII International Wine Awards, Mundus Vini, a gold medal for Monasterio de las Viñas Reserva 2008 and two silver medals for the new frizzantes from El Circo, Macabeo and Garnacha.
Besides, other wines from El Circo range obtained a gold medal for Equilibrista (Cariñena) and two silver medals for Contorsionista (Cabernet Sauvignon) and Arlequín (Syrah) in the winter edition of Mundus Vini. We should remember that Monasterio de las Viñas Reserva 2008 won a gold medal in the Selèction Mondiales des Vins this year.
These new recognitions to the oenological quality of Grandes Vinos will have a good effect on the exportation sells of these wines due to the effect it has on global distributors and in the end customers.
Mundus Vini is one of the most important wine competitions founded 15 years ago by the Meininger Verlag. It supposes a veritable tasting marathon of 4.300 wines from all over the world. Spain has been the third most awarded country in this summer edition.
