Corona de Aragón official wine and Special Edition “La Jota”

The tribute to the Jota that has been waiting so long has already have a date and name, JOTA de Saura, to be premiered on October 3rd in Zaragoza, and in which the Aragonese Director Carlos Saura will present his latest work in which he aims to leave visual and sound memory of one of the landmarks of Aragón land and in the course of which will be accompanied by great figures of our country and international, such as violinist Ara Malikian, classical Spanish guitarist Cañizares, dancer Sara Baras, composer Giovanni Solima or the piper Carlos Nuñez. In addition to the music of Alberto Artigas and the choreographies of Miguel Ángel Berna throughout the film.

Grandes Vinos, leader winery of the Denomination of Origin Cariñena, has been betting from its beginnings by the culture as a vehicle to promote its wines, through its brand CORONA DE ARAGÓN and the cinema in particular has been the cultural expression where it has centered its majors efforts, being currently sponsor and official wine of several festivals of the Autonomous Community of Aragón.

The label illustrates the movie poster and the wine is a blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon, and the native Cariñena. Its aging of 8 months in American and French oak barrels has resulted in a very mature fruit wine with notes of licorice and spices, very elegant. Especially exciting for Grandes Vinos has been the possibility to be part of the group of sponsors of this Musical “largometraje”, in whose agreement was included the design of a commemorative wine CORONA DE ARAGÓN CRIANZA 2013 SPECIAL EDITION JOTA DE SAURA, a wine of collector, of limited production, that although it is also born in Aragon, Cariñena, will accompany to the film for its long journey in the different international festivals, thus reinforcing the export vocation of the winery and its new claim “Cariñena Ambassadors” in which the winery feel proud ambassadors of their land and its people.

The back label tag has the following text signed by the Aragonese director: “Exploring the tradition of the powerful dance of my land, where was also born this wine of great personality and character, as it could not be otherwise, let us toast to Art and The Culture of Aragón” CARLOS SAURA.
