Coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the launch of the brand, two new references are presented on the market: ANAYÓN GARNACHA ROSADO and ANAYÓN GARNACHA BLANCA. The two new launches inaugurate an update of the brand’s image that is already being progressively implemented in the complete range.
ANAYÓN, the Premium brand of Grandes Vinos, presents its novelties at two of the most powerful fairs of the Spanish wine business in the world: from February 6th to 8th at the BWW, Barcelona Wine Week (Pab 8 Street C Stand 602) and later in March at Prowein (Pab 11 Stand 11G19).
The two new ANAYÓN wines are a complement to the current range and two novelties in the national wine scene.
ANAYÓN GARNACHA ROSADO, a limited edition of just 2,000 bottles, is a rosé made from 70-year-old Garnacha (Grenache) old vines, fermented in wooden vats and later aged on its lees in American oak barrels for 6 months. A rosé with light and elegant acidity, refreshing, balanced and round.
ANAYÓN GARNACHA BLANCA is in a broader category, that of barrel-aged white wines, but it differs from the rest for the selected varietal, Garnacha Blanca (White Grenache) from 20-year-old vines, and for its aging time, 9 months on its lees in stainless Steel tanks and 39 months in second-use American oak barrels, which gives the wine an intense amber color and extraordinary length, combining its freshness with its creaminess.
The new identity of the ANAYÓN brand has been carried out by the prestigious Zaragoza design studio Estudio Versus, with a slight restyling, refreshing and updating both the name and the symbol that accompanies it.
When applying this image to the labeling of the bottles, the 7 varietals and the Selección, the only coupage, have been worked on individually, with a chromatic differentiation, of subtle and powdery tones with an artistic and personalized trait for each one of them, which alludes to the care and affection with which each of these wines is made.
For the four ultra-premium wines, its three Parcela wines and the Terracota, alluding to the vessels where it is aged, a typographic design and the most exclusive treatment of gold screen printing, and a manual placement seal have been chosen.
All ANAYÓN bottles are serialized and numbered, another aspect that has been highlighted in this new brand identity.
ANAYÓN represents the detail in the selection process of the winery’s vineyards, unique due to their soil conditions, climate, altitudes, vineyard conditions and age of their varieties. Well-balanced plants, with low production and high concentration, give as a result, only in exceptional vintages, a limited production, a selection of barrels and numbered bottles, with wines that seek to find the maximum expression of Campo de Cariñena.
The search for excellence is carried out in the old barrel room of the Cooperativa de Aguaron, which is part of Grandes Vinos, and where a new vinification and aging cellar has been installed exclusively for this brand.
