Our Wines

Once the grapes have reached their peak of ripeness harvesting begins and, following a strict procedure of quality control of the grapes when they arrive at the co-operatives, the winemaking process is carried out. The wine produced at the co-operatives, under the supervision of a team of 5 enologists from Grandes Vinos y Viñedos, is classed by qualities and arrives at the blending building to begin the assembly of the varieties which will be used to make the young wines that are commercialised by our winery.

The young wine goes to the bottling building for the last stage in the process. A modern bottling plant with a capacity of 12,000 bottles per hour, totally automated and with numerous points of control to maintain the necessary asepsis during the whole process.

The wine selected for ageing is taken from the wine blending building to the winery's ageing section. Grandes Vinos y Viñedos has 30,000 Bordeaux American oak barrels and French Limousin oak barrels with a capacity of 225 litres per barrel. The ageing processes is completed with a period of rest in the bottle in optimum conditions to guarantee the constant organoleptic characteristics and quality of all of the wines commercialised both in Spain and world wide.
