Cultural route: Muel-Fuendetodos and Grandes Vinos y Viñedos

On 20th June an agreement for co-operation was signed between the Diputación Provincial de Zaragoza (Zaragoza Provincial Council) and the Grandes Vinos y Viñedos winery. This agreement for co-operation aims to promote the cultural route between the Muel Ceramic School-Workshop, Fuendetodos (cradle of the genial painter Francisco de Goya y Lucientes) and the Grandes Vinos y Viños winery, with all of the attractions that these three institutions can offer visitors.

Promoting cultural activities in the Cariñena area has always been one of the objectives and concerns of Grandes Vinos y Viñedos and this has led to the setting up of the cultural, wine and tourism route that we are now presenting. Winemaking, ceramics, etchings, paintings, D.O. products, in short, a true pleasure for the senses waiting to be discovered by travellers to this area.

The "Cubed Route" image shows a single route from which three other routes, each with their own specific features, emerge and harmoniously wend their way together, very much aware of Goya's presence and the tremendous power of attraction that this has over travellers.

The route's slogan is "Bon Voyage" - the title of one of Goya's etchings from the "The Caprices" series.
