CERTIFIED QUALITY

Grandes Vinos y Viñedos has just renewed its international certificates: International Food and Standard and British Retail Consortium (specific for the United Kingdom) with high marks, and the Environmental 14001 certificate and the 9001 certificate.

The ISO 9001 regulation, aims to improve the organisational aspects of the company. Both the technical quality as well as the correct organisation of the company help to obtain a quality product that allows the winery to produce for a current, competitive market.

This regulation incorporates the participation and involvement of the whole company, turning it into a system of processes with the idea of simplifying the problems. Lastly, it aims to direct the company in the administration and management tasks with an important key point being the data analysis with particular emphasis on the consumer and continual improvement.

There are two different types of certificates, company ones and product ones. Since only the company one considers, along with the technical quality of the product, customer satisfaction, Grandes Vinos y Viñedos chose this type of certificate, as it realised that the winery is genuinely interested in the wine it produces and in the way it is produced to obtain maximum consumer satisfaction.

Additionally, and integral to the Quality Culture of Grandes Vinos y Viñedos the Environmental Management is incorporated through the ISO 14000, standards that are also international and concern environmental management, fighting for preventative action and again for continual improvement.

The intention of Grandes Vinos y Viñedos is not just to comply with worldwide legislation that aims to protect the environment, but to make the culture of the company focus on minimising the impact of our activity on the fragile environment that surrounds us. Lastly, the IFS and BRC certificates, which are no less important. They are two certificates that are required by large chains of supermarkets, especially foreign ones. They require their suppliers to implement quality management systems, in particular concerning food safety (International Food and Standard, developed in Germany), and good agricultural practices as a requisite for the sale of our products in their establishments.

The certificates have been obtained through Applus, the First Private Certificate Institution in Spain. Distinctive elements that will no doubt allow us to enjoy recognition and acceptance on a national and international level throughout all the levels of the market.

All of this complies with the aim of these standardisation systems which is to ensure consumer satisfaction on all levels. It gives us great pleasure to offer you four certificates that place Grandes Vinos y Viñedos ahead of its time.
